Co-extrusion
Co-extrusion is a process in which multiple layers of material are produced simultaneously and combined into a single material during the extrusion process, in which the film takes the shape of a flat sheet from granulate pellets. Co-extrusion can result in a mono-material or a multilayer material. Co-extrusion should not be confused with lamination. A co-extruded product can be used within a laminate.
